An outsider with hair like quiet embers, watches with eyes so green even grass on a spring day couldn't compare. Fair complexion and freckled cheeks with a grin so sharp it could cut glass and a game made out of thin air.
Roaming through the woods in a form like no other has ever seen. Auburn fur and green eyes that never seem to change no matter what shift she is in. The freedom of running, everything heightened and unburdened by the world. In the moment of peace that she feels the ears perk up hearing voices from a distance.
Did she cover her tracks? Will they spot her? These thoughts played in her head while she began to run the other way. Her parents told her to never shed an a drop of human blood for they are not innocent but they know no better. Misunderstood she and her kind are peaceful. The type that give the image of violence are nothing like her at all. They can be violent and animalistic without humanity.
She was running as far from it as possible but he was catching up fast. She couldn't do anything but stop and stand her ground. She hears the boy approaching, still standing her ground he comes running from a grove of trees toward her holding a crossbow loaded and ready to go.
He stops as his eyes meet hers and without a hesitation his crossbow drops to the ground as he falls to his knees. As the weapon hits the ground the bolt is set off just grazing her right shoulder. The boy seeing this rushes over to what he sees as the most beautiful creature he has ever seen. Ripping a piece of his shirt he goes to take the material to bandage this majestic being. She flinches but the prince doesn't hesitate to wrap the bloody wound. Still looking into the eyes of this boy, As his never leave hers either a bond begins to set.
Her ears perk up and with what she just heard eye contact was broken. The sound of this boys father running toward them creates fear in her heart. She gets up and runs away not wanting to be one of the many a trophy this man has collected.
That's the first time she saw him and when she began to watch.
